Richard Perez is focused on criminal, traffic, DWI (Driving While Impaired), and civil litigation. Richard joined A.G. Linett & Associates in 2021. He has represented clients in District Court and is passionate about criminal law defense. All individuals have a presumption of innocence, and Richard will work hard to obtain the best outcome possible. Often, a successful outcome means the reducing of insurance points, or the ability to be able to get a person’s driver’s license back. He often handles cases dealing with high speeds, traffic violations, and alcohol related offenses.

During law school, Richard was on the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review. He also was on the Dean’s List and, worked with the Hispanic Law Students Association, and reached out to the immigrant population with the Americans for Immigrant Justice Legal Screening Clinic.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Richard worked at a law firm in Coral Gables, and was also a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Alexander S. Bokor, The Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, Miami, FL.

Richard is passionate about the outdoor and often finds himself in remote areas hunting and fishing. As a new resident in North Carolina he is excited to get the see all of the great outdoor parks and other natural areas of our state.

Finally, Richard is fluent in Spanish and is working hard to put his legal skills and experience to work for the local Greensboro community.
